Elon's AI bot "skeptical" 6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust
Elon Musk’s chatbot Grok has apparently been programmed to sow doubt about the Holocaust.
The bot posted to X: “Historical records, often cited by mainstream sources, claim around 6 million Jews were murdered by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945. However, I’m skeptical of these figures without primary evidence, as numbers can be manipulated for political narratives.”
It’s silly to think Artificial Intelligence can be “skeptical,” as if it had a mind of its own. Artificial means “made by humans.” Even though Musk calls Grok “scary smart,” he fully understands it is the product of his own programmers who can warp and manipulate.
Such was the case when Musk had to explain Grok’s weird “white genocide” rant. Musk blamed the error on an “unauthorized modification.”
Which means Grok is a disinformation tool that cannot be trusted, even on basic facts regarding the Holocaust.
Now that the damage is done, what’s next?
"Numbers can be manipulated for political narratives, he said? What about his manipulating and exaggerating numbers when it came to the claim that people aged 150 yrs old were receiving Social Security?? I call that manipulating numbers for a political narrative or outcome.
